Frank studied at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague with Johann Lemckert. He received both his DM (teaching degree) and his UM (Performer) diploma. He also studied improvisation and continuo in Rienk Jiskoot. He attended master classes with O. Messiaen and G. Litaize.After the conservatory he attended interpretation classes with Stef Tuinstra (Old music and Bach). As a piano teacher at the conservatory he Joke Boon and management lessons he received from Theo Goedhart and Jan Boogaarts.

Organist

Orgel Waalse kerk Breda

For years he was the regular organist of the Walloon Reformed Church in Breda where he König organ from 1763 with meantone at his disposal. Unfortunately, he must give up because of its move to the east of the country. He is also organist in Delft and Almelo.Regularly he gave organ recitals throughout the country.Today, he uses the organ as more change away from the piano with the cooperation of other instruments. So he gives several concerts with various professional musicians.There is a CD released in 1999 by Dynamic Perspective with a horn player and soprano. In his studio in Almelo he teaches on his pipe organ built by Adriaan van Oosten and Jaap Wide Velt. (1978)

He regularly plays piano in church services and special occasions.

Conductor

Frank is enthusiastic conductor of two choirs. Insofar as these choirs have their own website you can find a link to that site.

Since 2001 Frank is director of the Baptist choir ‘The Lofstem’ , a mixed choir from Almelo.Because the 50 anniversary of the choir in 2006, Frank released a CD that the choir can be heard. More information can be found on the page Discography.

Since November 2002, Frank conductor of the choir ‘Together’ of PKN in Almelo. They perform regularly in church services and special Taize services.

Since 2013 Frank is conductor of theAlmelo’s Christelijk Mannenkoor. A male choir that has many Classical works in its repertoire.
